Cohen turned one on Wednesday! In one short year he has become quite a little character. He amazes me on a daily basis - always learning to do new things, without even being taught. He's always watching, taking it all in. He can be stubborn and throw a fit with the best of them, but he's also started giving hugs and cuddles. As he gains his independence, I see him become more confident. It's such a joy to watch him accomplish new things and to see the happiness it brings him.
We gave Cohen a piece of chocolate cake on his birthday, not quite a cake smash, but we may have saved that for another day.
Happy birthday, my sweet boy. We love you more than we ever could have imagined.
